So it’s really happening. Kallusive is taking us and Kaba Modern to Honolulu to perform and teach a couple workshops this weekend. This will be my first visit to the islands and I am super super excited. So much has happened over the last 5 months or so since I decided to stay in Los Angeles. So I am going to slowly write about it all especially now that videos and pictures documenting my ‘happenings’ are becoming available to me. My homegirl Tifferz and I decided to enter the Mighty 4 / Homecoming 2vs2 Locking Battle in San Fran October 18th. This was my 3rd Locking Battle since re-entering the scene and my first since my recovery from the shoulder separation.

Out of 16 Locking duets we placed 3rd officially and were beaten by the winners Shy Guy and Dennis. It was a ton of fun, a learned alot, and it was really sweet to be participate in the locking community and vibing with everyone. The Bay has a killer locking scene and I think we really showed that crowd how entertaining locking can be. In fact many were saying the lockers were more fun to watch than the popperzzz! woohoo nawsayin. (but jew know i love poppin)
